I'm starting this group because we just got a new motorcycle and want to find other riders and friends that are not interested in the long 4-6 hours of travelling on a bike, but just meeting around town, doing shorter day long rides, participating in bike events around town, and just hanging out and making new motorcycle friends. This is not a group about racing, speeding, and being an irresponsible rider. This is a group about enjoying your bike and being a safe rider at the same time.  

The group is designed for women that are interested in riding motorcycles, but don't live in metro Atlanta. 

The North Georgia Motorcycle Club was started in 1999 as The Honda Shadow Club. The name was later changed to encourage all motorcycles and to reflect where we meet and ride. We have become a Riding club more than a Social club. We ride full days!  200 to 400 miles per day. We have one meeting per month and two rides. There are lots of biker groups out there, but I work at night(10p-6a)...so by the time I get up in the afternoon, the sun is out the day is moving and traffic is in full swing.
